Chris Shaw is running for Chino Valley Unified School Board to continue bringing strong academics, safe campuses,
and real financial transparency to our district.
Every decision should begin with one question: what's best for our kids?

"I know the difference between what looks good on paper and what actually works. I’m running because the fight for strong academics and safe schools in Chino Valley isn’t finished."
I’m a lifelong Chino Valley resident, a construction professional, a husband, and a father of two daughters. For years, I've stood alongside parents from across our community in a fight that has been personal to our family - standing with parents, showing up, and pushing for schools that put students first.
I’m running for School Board because that work is not finished. Too many classrooms are still distracted by ideology when they should be focused on teaching reading, writing, and math. Families still have to fight for basic transparency. And girls still need adults willing to protect their sports and private spaces without apology.
This has always been a family effort. I’ve been in it alongside the people who care most about this district, and I’m ready to continue that work on the Board itself. I’ll bring a builder’s mindset to the job: focus on what actually works, cut what doesn’t, and measure every decision by one simple standard: What is best for the students.
Our kids only get one shot at a strong education. I’m ready to keep fighting for it.

This campaign isn't about politics. It's personal. Like so many families here, ours depends on the same schools, teachers, and classrooms we're fighting to strengthen.
Every decision the School Board makes must begin with one question: "What is best
for Chino Valley students and families?"
That's the standard I'll bring to every vote.
Reading, writing, and math must come first. Too many students are falling behind while time and resources are spent on distractions. I’ll fight for a back-to-basics curriculum that gives every child the foundation they need to succeed in school and in life.
Our educators are the backbone of the district. Great teachers deserve competitive pay, real classroom support, and the freedom to focus on teaching - not navigating bureaucracy or political mandates. When we support teachers, students win.
Taxpayers deserve total transparency and accountability. I’ll work to ensure every dollar prioritizes classrooms, teachers, and programs that directly help students—not administrative bloat or low-impact initiatives.
Every student deserves a safe, focused campus where learning comes first. That includes protecting girls’ sports and private spaces, securing our facilities, and keeping radical ideology out of the classroom so kids can simply be kids.
